Distinguished jury for the first Artistika 2013

Yamil Borges brings a touch of Broadway to Visp. The New Yorker has already impressed Leonard Bernstein with her voice and is known from the award-winning film "A Chorus Line" by Richard Attenborough and starring Michael Douglas. Other supporting roles followed on television, such as in the crime series "Miami Vice" and the "Cosby Show". Together with her pianist Tal Balshai she will perform a small sampling of her capabilities.



Cotton McAloon is one of the very few professional artists who has succeed in presenting two disciplines, in the same performance, with great nonchalance and with the highest perfection. He has the ability to not only juggle with balls and clubs, but also at the same time with his words and languages. He has been known to keep his audience in stitches while he brilliantly juggles back and forth. Winner of the coveted "Clown d'Oro" awarded by the Italian TV station RAI Uno and of the prestigious "Time Out Street Entertainer of the Year" awarded by the City of London – he is simply a world-class artist.


Aurelia Cats The Frenchwomen Aurelia Cats combines exciting trapeze acrobatics with elements of contortion. On both the stationary and swinging trapeze she unfolds her beautiful body as a smoothly as a cat. She is one of the most outstanding trapeze artists of our time. Aurelia Cats is the first woman to be hired as a solo artist in Paris's Lido. The "Catwoman" has already won with her sophisticated and sensual performance in high altitudes several awards, including one from the major circus festival "Festival du Cirque de Demain" in Paris.
